Summary: Garth Solutions, Inc. is seeking a talented Freelance Copywriter with strong experience in government contracting, proposal development, and strategic communications. This role will support the company in developing compelling, persuasive, and professional written content for government proposals, solicitations, capability statements, marketing materials, social media, and other business communications. This is a flexible freelance opportunity for a strategic writer who can work independently, meet deadlines, conduct research, and adapt their writing style across multiple platforms.

Pay Rate: $35-$50

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design, Marketing & Government Proposal & Creative Collaboration, Government Contracts & Proposals:

\n
• Develop and edit content for government contracts, solicitations, RFP/RFQ responses, and proposals. 
\n
• Review solicitation requirements and translate them into clear, compliant proposal content. 
\n
• Write persuasive technical, management, organizational, and corporate experience sections. 
\n
• Develop executive summaries, project descriptions, past performance narratives, and capability statements. 
\n
• Ensure proposal content directly addresses evaluation criteria and client requirements. 
\n
• Research government agencies, contracts, industries, and competitors to strengthen proposal messaging. 
\n
• Collaborate with internal team members and subject-matter experts to gather information and develop accurate content. 
\n
• Edit and proofread proposals for grammar, clarity, consistency, tone, and compliance. 
\n
• Help develop reusable proposal language, templates, and messaging frameworks. 
\n
• Maintain a professional, confident, and government-appropriate writing style. 
\n

Strategic & Brand Copywriting:

\n
• Develop engaging copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms. 
\n
• Write captions, thought-leadership posts, company announcements, promotional content, and campaign messaging. 
\n
• Develop website, blog, email, newsletter, and marketing copy as needed. 
\n
• Turn complex business concepts into easy-to-understand and compelling content. 
\n
• Maintain consistency with Garth Solutions, Inc.'s brand voice and messaging. 
\n
• Assist with content calendars and strategic content planning. 
\n
• Repurpose long-form content into social media posts and other marketing materials. 
\n
• Research relevant industry trends and topics to support content development. 
\n
• Ability to deliver high-quality work quickly and efficiently while managing multiple deadlines. 
\n

Minimum Qualifications: 

\n
• Demonstrated professional copywriting experience. 
\n
• Experience writing or supporting government proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, grants, contracts, or government-focused communications strongly preferred. 
\n
• Strong understanding of persuasive business writing and audience-focused messaging. 
\n
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, editing, and attention to detail. 
\n
• Ability to research unfamiliar industries, agencies, and subject matter quickly. 
\n
• Ability to understand and simplify technical or complex information. 
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills. 
\n
• Experience with social media copywriting and content strategy. 
\n
• Ability to adapt tone and writing style for government, corporate, and social media audiences. 
\n
