We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Job Title: Shipping Receiving SpecialistEmployee Type: Full Time, HourlyReports to: Logistics & Inventory ManagerJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAPay Range: $18.000 + - DOEShift: 8:00am - 4:30pmJob Duties:Pull, pack and ship finished goods according to the ship listCheck products for defects and accuracyEnsure that serial and batch numbers match the product, incoming & outgoingVerify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and typesEnsure safe handling & packaging procedures are followed to avoid damageFollow customer requirements regarding packaging & shipping protocols & methodsPrepare and paste labels on shipments as neededMake sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely mannerSafety operate forklift to transport or move large aerospace partsSafety operate overhead crane to load &/or unload large aerospace partsOccasional construction of shipping containers and pallets requiredEnsure that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all timesHelp as needed within the department with Receiving duties or assist production as neededRequirements:3+ years' experience working in Shipping/Receiving capacity requiredExperience working with raw material such as aluminumOverhead Crane and Forklift experience requiredAbility to work independently and honestly and also support team membersMust display good character and work with integrityAircraft or Manufacturing Warehouse experience requiredGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailHigh School Diploma or equivalentWorking Conditions:First Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pmSome overtime may be necessary with or without noticeAbility to regularly and frequently lift 50 poundsFrequent exposure to high and cold temperaturesMust be able to wear safety PPE equipment, as required. Noise levels may require hearing protection.The essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, and to walk for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others in the office. Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve items. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment. Writing to complete reports and service requests.
