We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This contract position will provide front-desk and administrative coverage during a short-term leave, helping maintain an organized, detail-focused, and welcoming workplace. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle routine office needs with a flexible and responsive approach.
Responsibilities:• Welcome visitors and respond to incoming calls in a courteous manner, gathering accurate information and directing questions appropriately.
• Coordinate meeting room scheduling and help ensure shared spaces are prepared, orderly, and ready for use throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment by checking common areas, straightening furniture, and tidying surfaces as needed.
• Provide basic administrative support such as scanning documents, handling clerical tasks, and assisting with general office coverage.
• Record messages and notes clearly so inquiries can be followed up on by the appropriate team members.
• Communicate promptly with onsite contacts regarding facility concerns or support needs, including submitting or relaying service requests when necessary.
• Offer dependable onsite coverage while working collaboratively with team members to support break coverage and day-to-day office continuity.• Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a detail-focused and approachable demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an orderly workspace.
• Ability to manage inbound calls, take accurate messages, and handle routine clerical responsibilities.
• Proficiency with basic administrative tasks such as document scanning and general office coordination.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work onsite on a regular schedule for the duration of the assignment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced office setting.
