Accountant (QuickBooks & Xero)

About the Company: Learn with Leaders is a global education platform offering leadership programs, research fellowships, and academic experiences to school students worldwide. Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong hands‑on experience in QuickBooks and Xero to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decision‑making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Bookkeeping & Financial Management Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals Record daily transactions, invoices, and expenses Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Accountants are responsible for maintaining accurate records and preparing financial reports to support business decisions. 2. Software Management (QuickBooks & Xero) Handle end‑to‑end accounting on QuickBooks and/or Xero Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Generate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports Ensure proper categorization and bookkeeping hygiene Modern roles require proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, etc. 3. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies Support budgeting and forecasting activities 4. Compliance & Audits Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations Assist in audits and maintain proper documentation Prepare GST filings / tax‑related reports (India‑specific if needed) 5. Payroll & Expense Management Manage payroll processing and reimbursements Track expenses and ensure timely vendor payments Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 25 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping Strong hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (“lovable”) and Xero Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP basics preferred) High attention to detail and accuracy Accountants typically handle financial data, audits, taxes, and reporting responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Learn with Leaders
