JOB TITLE: Scheduler/Volume Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

This role reports to the Marketing Supervisor, who reports to the Vice President of Commercial Business. Duties include but are not limited to natural gas scheduling, upstream and downstream communication, contract review, maintaining allocations, nominations and imbalances, tracking daily, monthly and term sales, revenue reporting, and monthly gas, NGL, and oil accruals. This position is primarily a front office position but does assist in some revenue invoice reconciliations and "Gathering and Transport" payable invoices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of nomination systems associated with Sabine Energy production to nominate gas and products
• Direct communication with Sabine Upstream Operations and Downstream Markets with regards to daily, monthly, term volume flow
• Nominate natural gas activity by working with Sabine commercial team to optimize movement of gas via direct communication to 3rd parties or various electronic bulletin boards (EBB)
• Track allocations to nominations to monitor/minimize imbalances on each corresponding contract
• Notify Operations and Downstream markets of any scheduled pipeline outages or changes in production
• Work closely with commercial team with redline reviews and contract negotiations
• Acquire and maintain external and internal information to develop market intelligence and insight into regional supply/demand issues and knowledge of market fundamentals
• Establishes regular communication of data, and participates in action plans to ensure continuous improvement of quality, cost, and delivery
• Ensure all baseload volumes exceed monthly hedged volumes
• Ensure that all term, monthly and daily contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Assist with monthly natural gas payments to production allocations and nominations ensuring all daily gas prices, fees, and cashouts are correct
• Maintain close communication and working relationships with other departments including accounting, and operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with essential field personnel, contract administrators, midstream contacts and downstream markets
• Compile and maintain quality market data as needed
• Provide problem solving analytical support for complex issues
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Up to 5 years of experience in onshore oil & gas industry
• Up to 5 years of experience in natural gas front office – gas scheduling or gas optimization
• Experience or background in gas scheduling, gas control, gas balancing, gas processing or gas optimization
• Upstream Oil and Gas Experience
• Accounting and Data Analysis experience
• Experience with Operations & Project Management
• Must be able to commute to and from Downtown Houston office for on-site work

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Proficient competencies in Microsoft Office to include strong Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Demonstrates an intermediate understanding of gas, oil and processing sales transactions and contracts
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, critical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail
• Possesses problem solving skills with the initiative to investigate, analyze and resolve problems

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering
