Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations
• Process cash transactions and bank transfers
• Support accounts payable functions and vendor payment processing
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Support financial reporting and analysis as needed
• Work closely with senior accounting staff and management on special projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience or newly graduated with an Accounting degree
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
