Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive history assessments
• Contribute to the diagnosis of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab findings
• Partner with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, preparing surgery rooms, ensuring safe patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-surgery patient care, which encompasses medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and thorough patient education

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations focused on surgical procedures

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
