Supervisor - Diagnostic Imaging

Description Responsible for effective, efficient coordination and execution of daily imaging-related patient care activities in Breast Imaging. Accountable for the optimization of staff and pertinent supply chain resources. Functions as liaison with the radiologists, staff, and outpatient departments. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes and procedures relating to Breast Imaging services. Assists in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Assures the provision of exemplary customer service. Establishes a work environment conducive to high staff engagement, participation, and morale. Maintains an effective management relationship within the department's leadership structure. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited medical imaging training program Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists --or-- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography --or-- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 3 years of experience in Breast Imaging specialty area Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Advanced Licensure in one or more additional modalities 2 years of additional recent experience as a Lead Technologist or a related position 2 years of experience with another imaging modality Supervisory experience Experience leading a diverse team across multiple specialties Proven experience establishing, measuring and tracking performance metrics Why Join Providence Swedish? Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
