Work Environment

This position is based onsite, with a focus on providing high-quality home care therapy to our community in North Las Vegas. You will be working in a supportive environment where collaboration and communication are encouraged among healthcare professionals, including other therapists, nurses, and patient care coordinators. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific rehabilitation goals, enhancing mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to promote physical recovery and reduce pain. For example, you might conduct one-on-one sessions focusing on joint mobilization techniques post-surgery.
• Educate patients and their families on body mechanics, proper exercise techniques, and home rehabilitation programs to facilitate ongoing recovery between sessions.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, while adhering to industry best practices for patient safety and efficacy.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously to assess outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations.
• Ensure treatment areas are organized and equipped with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals to create a holistic care plan, optimizing patient-centered outcomes.
• Provide continual encouragement and emotional support to patients, fostering a motivational environment as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards in patient care and confidentiality, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including children, seniors, and athletes recovering from various types of injuries or surgeries. As a Physical Therapist, you will tailor your approach to address the specific challenges faced by each demographic, utilizing the latest research and therapy practices to enhance patient recovery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques, combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Effective communication skills to clearly articulate treatment goals and processes to patients and their families.
• Capacity to work independently while collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits
