Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing established assessment methods and tools.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, enhancing strength, and improving functional outcomes.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Support post-operative rehabilitation for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, facilitating a seamless transition from hospital to home care.
• Educate patients regarding injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and effective home exercise regimens to support ongoing recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes utilizing our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic orthopedic conditions, and addressing sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced education in Physical Therapy, such as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of practice in an orthopedic-focused environment.
• A genuine passion for patient care and commitment to rehabilitation best practices.
• Experience with computerized documentation systems and EMR is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
