Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in the home care setting, providing physical therapy services directly to patients in their own homes. You will work scheduled hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a consistent routine while fostering meaningful interactions with patients and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and histories to develop customized treatment plans that meet individual needs.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address pain and functional limitations.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery, home exercise programs, and strategies to prevent future injuries.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation from various orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. This role demands a personable approach, as you will be interacting with patients who may be experiencing physical and emotional challenges related to their recovery, and supporting them in regaining their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in the field is preferred.
• Active Nevada physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Exceptional communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedics is highly beneficial. Compensation and Benefits
