Our Core Values: Customer Satisfaction Integrity Teamwork Quality What You’ll Get To Do: Reporting to our VP of Ops, this is an on-site, full time, non-exempt position. The organized, self-motivated, individual in this position is responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machines in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. In this role you’ll get to: Set up and adjust settings on the extrusion line and auxiliary equipment to run sheet at required thickness, width, roll diameter/weight, silicone load and direction. Ensure quality objectives and specifications for thickness, width, clarity, gels, carbon specs, visual defects, etc. are met. Ensures finished good roll diameter and weight requirements are met without exceeding maximum specifications. Perform general maintenance on the equipment as needed; communicate all changes to equipment and settings to other departmental personnel. NOTE: This position will follow the ‘Pitman’ shift schedule- The Pitman fixed shift schedule uses 4 crews and 2 twelve-hour shifts to provide 24/7 coverage. It consists of a 2-week cycle where each team works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 3 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 3 days off duty. Two teams are assigned day shifts while the other two are assigned night shifts.
