Account Executive
EPM is growing, and we are seeking account executives to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing lending relationships with third-party originators and expanding existing accounts to increase closed loan volume. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard qualified third-party originator/broker accounts.
- Conduct sales calls with prospective and current accounts to assess strategic fit and opportunities.
- Provide training to accounts on systems, policies, procedures, products, and updates.
- Offer support and service to accounts and their staff.
- Act as a liaison between accounts and the equity operations teams.
- Collaborate with management and internal teams to maintain professional partnerships with accounts.
- Actively manage accounts pipeline and provide loan projections to management.
- Prioritize and allocate time and resources effectively to meet goals.
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Recent experience as a wholesale account executive required.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required.
- Completion of anti-money laundering, fair lending, and equity origination training required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Self-starter: highly motivated, dependable, and self-reliant.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience in overcoming sales obstacles.
- Working knowledge of the wholesale lending process, loan programs, guidelines, and regulations.
- Familiarity with local and regional markets and lender competition.
