The opportunity: Seeking hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS is preferred. Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is preferred. Current VA state license is a plus. 10-hour day shifts with rounding responsibilities. 1 out of 3 weekends. Full-time opportunity available. If interested in PRN, must work 1 weekend a month.

The practice: Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center Midlothian, Virginia 130-beds with an additional 55 beds being added by 2024. Annual volume of 32,000+ Services at St. Francis include all types of surgery, women's services, 24-hour onsite neonatology, 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, urology, pediatric services, cardiac catheterization, MRI/CT, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine. Bon Secours Cancer Institute at St. Francis offers services in radiation, medical and surgical oncology, diagnostic services, infusion therapy, palliative care, and patient/family education services.

The community: Situated in Chesterfield County, Midlothian, Virginia, is an unincorporated village just 14 miles west of Richmond that's known for its proud coal mining and railroad history, old churches, and unique shops.
