Join an experienced cardiovascular and interventional services team as an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) in Anchorage, Alaska. This travel healthcare assignment offers the opportunity to support advanced cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and neurointerventional procedures in a collaborative acute-care hospital. Travel EP Tech Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,610–$2,800
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: Approximately 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per two-week period; may be called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks
• Call: Limited evening call coverage from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; team members may remain late until cases are completed
• Weekends: Some Saturdays are included as regularly scheduled shifts; every fourth weekend may include call coverage
• Charting System: Epic
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital with Level II trauma services and advanced cardiac, electrophysiology, and interventional programs

Electrophysiology Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, cardiac cath lab, or closely related interventional experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Radiology and/or cardiology procedural credentials as applicable
• Demonstrated competency with sterile technique, equipment setup, hemodynamic monitoring, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Experience supporting electrophysiology evaluations, cardiac ablations, device implants, cardioversions, conduction studies, and cardiac mapping
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to support advanced procedures such as Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, TandemHeart, structural heart procedures, TAVR, and temporary pacemaker placement
• Interventional radiology or neurointerventional experience is strongly preferred, including embolization, thrombectomy, vascular access, and stroke intervention support
• Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location; local candidates are not eligible
• Willingness to float within scope to comparable units or nearby affiliated locations when needed
• Ability to meet applicable state licensing, health documentation, reference, and compliance requirements

EP Tech Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and monitoring systems for electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and interventional cases
• Scrub and circulate while maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures
• Assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI response, and structural heart procedures
• Support electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, rhythm evaluation, mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, AICD procedures, and cardiac device implants
• Assist with high-acuity procedures involving Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, TandemHeart, temporary left ventricular support, and temporary pacemakers
• Support interventional radiology and neurointerventional procedures, including vascular interventions, embolization, thrombectomy, and stroke procedures
• Perform accurate monitoring, baseline measurements, EKG lead placement, and hemodynamic assessment
• Recognize and promptly communicate changes in cardiac rhythm, patient condition, and procedural status
• Operate and prepare applicable imaging, mapping, monitoring, and procedural equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia professionals, technologists, and other members of the procedural team to promote safe, efficient patient care
