• Administer individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate closely with diverse care team members, including physical and occupational therapists, medical professionals, and families to establish unified treatment strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical encounters.
• Involvement in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain abreast of innovative practices and advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
