Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure an integrated approach to care.

Provide guidance and education to patients and their families, enhancing progress outside the therapy sessions.

Support occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring ongoing continuity of care throughout the recovery journey.

Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to state regulations, federal laws, and organizational policies.

Commit to lifelong learning by keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field through education and teamwork with peers.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if awaiting ASHA certification.

A current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-driven treatment methodologies suitable for all age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders of communication and swallowing.
