Position: PA - Urology - Lakeland, FL

Our organization is looking for a talented Physician Assistant to join the Urology Department, where you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing outstanding, patient-focused urologic care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative environments.

• Deliver comprehensive care in clinic, hospital, outpatient, and perioperative settings .

• Assist with outpatient urology services, which encompass follow-up appointments, management of chronic conditions, diagnostic assessments, and patient education.

• Fulfill First Assist duties during surgical procedures.

• Oversee post-operative care, including patient rounds, order management, and discharge planning.

• Conduct admissions, histories & physicals, discharges, consultations, and triage.

• Work closely with urologists, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth transitions of care.

• Deliver thorough outpatient urologic care, including follow-up visits, chronic condition management, and patient education.

• Perform evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and create evidence-based treatment plans.

• Execute in-office procedures as appropriate based on your training and scope of practice.

• Collaborate effectively with urologists, nursing staff, and support personnel to ensure coordinated care.

• Enhance patient access by managing both scheduled and same-day appointments.

• Experience in Urology, Surgery, Hospital Medicine, or other acute care environments is highly desirable.

• Proficient procedural skills, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication abilities in fast-paced settings.

• A proven commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.

• Full-time schedule that aligns with the needs of clinic, outpatient, hospital, and OR environments.

• On-call responsibilities are required as part of team coverage.
