Full-Time Physician Assistant - Cardiology (Main Clinic) - Lakeland, FL
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant to join our established team of cardiology specialists. The work schedule consists of four outpatient days each week, with one weekend of inpatient duties per month.
*Experience as a nurse practitioner in an outpatient cardiology setting is highly desirable. Essential skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, along with a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to adult patients, including the ordering and assessment of diagnostic tests.
Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, document findings, record progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
Write prescriptions for medications, treatments, tests, and IV fluids.
Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and follow-up care for pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as preliminary EKG interpretations with physician oversight.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescribe both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.

Current CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
An active, unrestricted Florida license (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
