Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.76 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime: Tue 02:00 PM – 06:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including making preliminary observations and documenting security‑related concerns. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report discrepancies involving sensitive materials, equipment, or controlled areas. Support Allied Universal protocols by communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, while maintaining detailed incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card or license is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
