Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post offering the chance to support people first through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and an innovative approach to daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Sun 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM. What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation efforts and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with post orders. Maintain readiness for an armed patrol post by handling assigned equipment responsibly, following use guidelines, and supporting a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
