11165H - Operations Associate I (Hourly)

Merit Medical seeks an Operations Associate I to perform medical device assembly, quality inspection, and order fulfillment on a rotating production line. The position is hourly and based in Richmond, VA, with day shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device components following work order specifications and procedures
• Perform in-process visual inspection to verify products meet quality standards
• Pick, verify, and prepare orders for shipment with appropriate labeling
• Execute basic boxing and packaging procedures for finished products
• Reject products that fall outside established specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Ability to rotate through assembly line stations and meet production line rates
• Visual acuity with color and depth perception to identify product defects
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for assembly tasks
• Basic math knowledge and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and teamwork capability
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
