Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center environment
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips — this is a hard-stop requirement for this role
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4–5
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float to Telemetry or Medical/Surgical floors when the unit is overstaffed, as travelers are first to float
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience titrating and managing cardiac drips
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day (candidates may select one holiday off — either Thanksgiving or Christmas — but not both)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered under separate terms)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
