Weekend Shift Saw Operator

We are looking for a Weekend Shift Saw Operator to join our Team in our Youngsville, NC location! The shift is Friday, Saturday & Sundays from 5:00am - 5:00pm. The initial training phase for this position will last approximately 30 days and will be completed during the week. Responsibilities Maintain operation of the BACA machines Stage and position product on the machine Inspect and align correct tooling Unload the machine with quality checks Physically lift and move substantial parts Utilize overhead pneumatic vacuum lift to move parts Contribute to production results by working with the BACA team Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age No experience required; training will be provided Knowledge / Skills / Core Competencies Ability to get along well with people and be energized by a fast-paced work environment Ability to consistently follow standard operating procedures Ability to work under changing priorities, short deadlines, and multiple tasks Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Detail oriented and a self-starter Positive, problem-solving mindset Willingness to work overtime as needed Physical Demands / Safety Requirements / Working Conditions Must be able to stand for long periods and move as required; may bend, stoop, or reach Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; infrequently up to 75 pounds Repetitive motion with hands and arms Dexterity to operate equipment Exposure to pollutants, gases, dust, fumes, odors, and poor ventilation Ability to use a respirator and pass a fit test Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity; potential exposure to adverse shop elements Noise level may be loud Use of protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection Application & Equal Opportunity Qualified candidates must be eligible to work within the US and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical assessment, and drug test.
