Inventory Analyst - 2nd shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Inventory Analyst – 2nd shift at our new facility in Youngsville, NC. The pay rate for this position is $21 + shift differential per hour. Core hours are 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Position Overview The inventory analyst will perform a variety of duties to ensure the accuracy of the inventory counts and transactions. Responsibilities Cycle count components and reconcile variances across locations. Maintain files and records for cycle counting results and recharge material. Manage inventory through the warehouse management system, specifically regarding transfers, batch updates, and scrap. Coordinate shipping and receiving materials related to recharge. Request and process recharge purchase orders. Utilize problem‑solving techniques and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues or process/transactional problems, and follow up on issues as needed. Provide daily reports to departments and management on problems and recurring issues, using thorough analysis, publishing graphs, and metrics. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse or material analysis environment. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Raleigh, North Carolina, or be Active‑Duty Military exempt from the geographical limitation. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience with SAP IM and WM environments and knowledge of material movements and transactions. APICS cycle counting certification. Lean Six Sigma certification. Strong knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing practices and processes. Forklift experience. Skills Proficiency in MS Office applications with strong attention to detail; advanced Excel knowledge. Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to drive forklifts, including man‑up lifts. Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Good judgment and problem‑solving skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to stand or bend frequently. Must have good visual accuracy. Must be able to read and comprehend parts drawings, assembly Bill of Materials, pick sheets, travelers, and related documentation.
