Vice President of Information Technology About the Company Respected manufacturer of high-quality products Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of its IT function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management, development, and optimization of information systems to support business objectives. This includes leading and managing all aspects of IT operations, ensuring the reliable performance, security, and continuous improvement of systems and infrastructure. The VP of IT will also be tasked with developing and executing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, overseeing IT budgeting, and building a high-performing IT team. Applicants for the VP of IT position at the company should have 10-15 years' of experience in IT management, with a strong background in the administration, acquisition, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems, preferably in a manufacturing or operational environment. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with 3-5 years' of leadership experience. The role demands a candidate with proven experience in managing technical projects, and a PMP or similar certification is preferred. Experience with ERP systems and a working knowledge of SQL or similar database technologies are also strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and an analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
