Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient calls, triage effectively, and offer reassurance along with clear, accurate instructions.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.
• Observe and communicate any abnormal patient symptoms to the physician, ensuring thorough documentation in medical records.
• Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary patient testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.
• Distribute educational materials and support patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests as prescribed and maintain laboratory logs.
• Ensure clinical areas, equipment, and supplies are well-stocked, organized, and sterile, maintaining cleanliness according to protocols.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to evolving responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 40-hour workweek.
