The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.Job DescriptionThe Procurement Director position will perform the following duties:Develops and executes a standardized category management platform via strategic component implementation in order to improve the company's financial performance . Implements components include process and policy development, performance management, compliance management, talent management, supplier management, IT integration, and internal relationship building.Supports functional activities include establishing accountabilities at different levels within procurement and category managementCommunicates policies and business drivers clearly and compellingly Drives improved procurement performanceintegrates procurement and category management objectives with business' objectivesAssesses staff competencies, Developes and retains high performing staffLinks procurement and category management business plans to supplier partner strategies, Developes relationships with key business decision makers internally and externally, Integrates e-commerce into the long range procurement/category management strategic plan.BenefitsClick Here for Benefits InformationRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent6-10 years' experience in Procurement/PurchasingPrior supervisory experienceFoodservice experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree - Business Management, Procurement or related area. 10+ years' experience in Procurement/Purchasing including in-depth knowledge and understanding of integrated systems within foodservice industry. Prior supervisory experience.
