Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a  Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health .  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details:

• Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Complete an appropriate assessment and develop a treatment plan under the supervision of the Attending Physician.
• The full-time associate is expected to work three 12-hour clinical shifts each week in various areas of the Department, including the Main ED and Fast Track. 

Qualifications

• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $134,405* - $178,114*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $147,845** - $195,925**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
