Extruder Operator Opportunity

Twin City Staffing is hiring an extruder operator across multiple shift tiers to set up equipment, monitor extrusion runs, perform quality inspections, and stage materials. (Based on experience and tier classification) Hours: 12-Hour Shift Schedules
Shift A & Shift B (Day): 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Shift C & Shift D (Night): 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

Duties of the extruder operator:
- Set up, operate, and monitor vertical extrusion machinery to manufacture packaging products
- Conduct inline quality checks, identify print or structural defects, and log daily production metrics
- Stage raw materials, maintain clean extruder work zones, and execute shift handoff reports
- Climb machine stairways and work comfortably on elevated platforms while adhering to GMP, SQF, and PPE rules
Requirements of the extruder operator:
- Basic math proficiency and understanding of both imperial and metric measurement systems
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs. and work comfortably at heights on elevated platforms
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to follow instructions and complete logs
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk throughout full 12-hour production shifts
