You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Real Estate Corporate Banking Strategist assists senior coverage bankers in the delivery and execution on the full spectrum of both traditional banking products and capital markets products to Real Estate Corporate Banking and Institutional Fund Group clients and prospects. This position will coordinate activities centered on the execution of quote sheets, client pitches, engagements and group projects involving company analysis and internal reporting. Real Estate Corporate Banking Strategists work within the Real Estate Corporate Banking (RECB) and Institutional Fund Group (IFG) client coverage/origination teams for Regions Bank and Regions Securities, LLC.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides high level leadership and execution support to senior bankers by generating ideas, overseeing various financial analyses, developing financial models, profitability analysis and executing recommendations for clients and prospective clientsProvides leadership and training to a team of analysts and associatesProvides accountability for select client relationships and prospecting opportunitiesPerforms comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research for the coverage team to generate strategic ideas and advice to clients and prospectsContributes to the preparation and content of client and prospect related materials, including pitches, proposals, client marketing and other associated offering documents and analysesParticipates in client meetings, client planning sessions and weekly product partner meetingsCommunicates and collaborates with team members and product partners within the firmManages several projects at once with the ability to work effectively as an individual or as part of a teamMay manage a small portfolio of client relationshipsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor’s degree with proven record of high achievementThree (3) years of real estate corporate banking experience or equivalent experience in the industry verticalAdvanced knowledge of traditional banking products, capital markets and Real Estate Capital Markets productsPreferencesMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Prior real estate corporate lending experience and credit trainingSkills and CompetenciesAdvanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skillsEnergetic and creative self-starter with willingness to work long hours, and take on and successfully manage significant and multiple responsibilitiesStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationshipsStrong sense of personal accountability with a results orientation as part of a collaborative team environmentThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. The Real Estate Corporate Banking (RECB) Strategist job family consists of two levels, each with a standardized starting base salary:RECB VP, Strategist I: $150,000Requirements listed aboveRECB VP, Strategist II: $160,000RequirementsBachelor’s degree with proven record of high achievementThree (3) years of real estate corporate banking experience or equivalent experience in the industry verticalAdvanced knowledge of traditional banking products, capital markets and Real Estate Capital Markets productsBoth levels will require first-hand experience with Secured, Unsecured, and Subscription Finance transactions. The VP's also manage a team of Coverage Analysts and Associates and are accountable for the accuracy and quality of analysis performed, in support of clients and prospective clients and on behalf of the Directors/Managing Directors on the team.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
