- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using a combination of established assessments and observational methods.
- Craft individual treatment strategies designed to achieve both immediate outcomes and cater to long-term communication or swallowing needs.
- Deliver dedicated speech therapy aimed at enhancing elements of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, doctors, caregivers, and families to construct unified care approaches.
- Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to sustain a continuum of care amid their treatment journey.
- Ensure meticulous and punctual documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Pursue knowledge and growth within the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) before obtaining ASHA certification.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment commencement.
