VNS Territory Manager, Epilepsy (LA South)

Responsibilities Achieve or exceed sales objectives and be accountable for daily management of the territory. Engage onsite with epileptologists, neurologists, and neuroscientists to provide the latest therapy information, clinical studies and identify patients for VNS Therapy. Uncover barriers to VNS adoption and develop actions and plans to address them. Build and maintain productive professional relationships with customers, surgeons and buying managers. Create, maintain and execute cross‑functional physician targeting plans to achieve quarterly goals and long‑term strategy. Educate referring physicians, fellows, residents and clinic staff about current DRE treatment gaps, quality measures and available resources. Conduct on‑site product demonstrations and provide post‑implant education and product support. Provide onsite surgical case coverage, follow‑up support and troubleshooting of VNS Therapy in non‑Key Account CECs and community accounts. Obtain PIQ and/or PAF from patients, caregivers and physicians. Negotiate pricing and deals, manage inventory, and secure orders with buying managers. Monitor account performance, identify issues and mitigate risks proactively. Participate in professional outreach programs such as neurology conferences. Coordinate with case management for patient education and account interactions needed to support patients. Lead weekly territory team meetings and physician targeting meetings with the regional manager to review progress. Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company. Perform other duties as may be required by management. Location & Travel Requirements Must be resident within the assigned territory geographically located from Long Beach, CA to Santa Barbara, CA. Position may require extensive business travel of at least 40% or more of the time. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Strong work ethic and resilient results orientation. Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful selling experience in a medical field, preferably in a consultative role such as medical device or pharmaceutical sales. Demonstrated aptitude for fostering solid, value‑based physician relationships and interacting with patients in a clinical environment. Solid process orientation, resource management and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Intellectual capacity to interpret trends and data, translating information into actions and improvements. Self‑starter and independent thinker with aptitude to work autonomously. Robust interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork and collaboration. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with customers and patients at all levels. Creative thinking and demonstrated commitment towards LivaNova mission. BS/BA degree, preferably in life sciences, nursing, allied health or business.
