IT Program Manager, Care Sites Portfolio

Job Description Summary The Program Manager IT will lead and manage IT staff and resources in accordance with the company's IT Business Plan. The role includes planning and managing scope, schedule, and budget for defined deliverables, in line with OhioHealth IS PMO project management standards and service level agreements. This is a Hybrid position in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities And Duties Project Execution (65%) – Identify, plan, and execute technology projects, manage budgets, resources, schedule, and scope, and communicate status to stakeholders. Communication (20%) – Act as business analyst, gather requirements, articulate needs, manage ambiguity, and provide executive reporting. Influence without Authority (15%) – Engage senior leadership, mentor team members, and ensure high‑quality delivery. Program Leadership – Lead multiple concurrent IT programs, align them with strategic objectives, maintain program artifacts, roadmaps, and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate steering committees, drive change management, inspect performance, make decisions, remove roadblocks, hire, coach, mentor managers, and improve PMO practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (required) in Business Administration, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, HealthCare, Nursing, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive leadership and/or IT experience. Desired Attributes 7+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios. PMP certification preferred. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models. Familiarity with IT governance, architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks. Experience in healthcare IT environments. Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑scale IT initiatives (e.g., EHR implementations, cloud migrations, M&A integrations). Strong executive presence and ability to influence across technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Extensive experience with tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, and ServiceNow.
