Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license (Alabama or Compact license) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in the field of specialty - 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry unit. This unit provides care for patients with kidney-related conditions. The nurse-to-patient ratio in this area is 1:6. Candidates should be willing to float to other units and hospitals as required. Every other weekend is necessary. There is flexibility to accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Nurses in this unit specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. The team collaborates closely with community nephrologists and family practice providers to ensure high-quality patient care. This role supports patients throughout their journey from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
