What You'll Do
- Provide critical care for adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Monitor and manage ventilators and other life support equipment
- Perform IV starts and advanced patient assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement complex treatment plans
- Use EPIC electronic charting system for documentation and patient records
- Execute procedures including arterial pressure monitoring, chest tube management, and central line insertions
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, including chemotherapy and clinical trials
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license in good standing
- ACLS, BLS certifications
- NIH certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years MICU experience
- Expertise in vents, IV starts, and computerized charting
Preferred:
- Experience with pulmonary patients, complex medication regimens, and hemodynamic monitoring
