Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Help foster students’ growth and well-being in a contract role as a school psychologist in a vibrant educational environment near Cicero, IL. This full-time opportunity spans August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, covering Monday through Friday and serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Your expertise will support students at pivotal moments in their educational journey, with a focus on conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments, alongside some initial evaluations.

The position offers two distinct roles:

• Early Childhood School Psychologist (0.6 FTE, three days per week), supporting children transitioning into special education. Collaborate with families new to the process and travel between three different preschools to perform screenings and evaluations for students ages 3–5.
• Grades K-4 School Psychologist (1.0 FTE, five days per week), dedicated to evaluating students, facilitating Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) data team meetings, and guiding educational teams through the IEP and problem-solving processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Active licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Experience with early childhood evaluations or school-age assessments
• Deep understanding of special education law and procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly with families, team members, and educational partners
• Flexibility to travel between sites, especially for early childhood assignment
• Previous school-based experience is highly valued
