Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with roles available supporting elementary, middle, and high school students.

You’ll play an essential part in conducting comprehensive evaluations—including re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, functional behavioral assessments, and some initial assessments. Multiple assignments are available, including:

• A 0.6 FTE Early Childhood School Psychologist (three days/week), responsible for screening and evaluating children between ages 3–5—especially those transitioning out of early intervention—and providing support across multiple preschool sites.
• A 1.0 FTE School Psychologist (five days/week) focused on grades K–4, with responsibilities that include student evaluations, facilitating MTSS data team meetings, and supporting teams in the IEP and problem-solving processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)
• Experience with elementary, middle, and high school caseloads
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, team members, and community partners
• In-depth knowledge of special education law and best practices, especially in early childhood or elementary settings
• Comfort traveling between campuses (for preschool role)
• Commitment to clear, compassionate support for students and their families

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting multifaceted student evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
• Attending and contributing to IEP meetings
• Facilitating problem-solving and data meetings
• Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation
