Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing to patients in the ICU, coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient status, including hemodynamic parameters, and manage ventilators and other life-sustaining equipment as ordered.
- Administer medications, titrate IV infusions, and respond to changes in patient condition per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure meticulous handoffs during shift change.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control practices, ethical standards, and evidence-based care; engage families and apply the unit’s policies to deliver quality care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia.
- Knowledgeable about the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics; practice accordingly.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment within a hospital setting and adhere to unit policies.
- Comfort working night shifts and 12-hour rotations; strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated clinical judgment in critical care scenarios and a commitment to patient- and family-centered care.
