Commercial Loan Specialist

Seeking a Commercial Loan Assistant to join a growing team in Miami! This role works closely with lenders, borrowers, and internal departments to resolve servicing requests, process loan modifications, monitor escrow and insurance requirements, and maintain compliance with policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent internal and external customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process loan payments, payoffs, advances, and other commercial loan transactions accurately and timely. Review and process loan modifications, renewals, extensions, and maintenance requests. Monitor loan documentation, insurance, collateral, and escrow requirements to ensure compliance. Research and resolve loan servicing issues, payment discrepancies, and account exceptions. Coordinate with lending, credit, legal, and operations teams to support the commercial lending process. Prepare loan payoff statements, releases, and other servicing documentation as needed. Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures. Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects related to commercial loan servicing.

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of recent commercial loan experience and banking experience required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred Proficient in loan processing/closing systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
