What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests across various disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established procedures.
• Verify test results for precision, address anomalies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on essential laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all laboratory processes, mentor new team members or students, and maintain high quality control standards within the lab.
• Uphold a safe and organized working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing certification is maintained throughout your career.
