Job Summary This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical and nursing staff. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physician with patient care. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, routine clinical and administrative duties as needed to meet the needs of the practice to which it is assigned. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice. Department: Sleep Center Location: Englewood, NJ Status: Per Diem Shift: Variable Days Hours: Variable Job Essentials: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Minimum of two years (2) of medical assistant experience required Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred Ability to work effectively with patients, staff and the public Knowledge of computer systems and applications for healthcare administration Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Certification/Registry: Medical Assistant Certification/Registry required CPR or BLS Certification preferred Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
