Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Registered Nurse – Neonatal ICU

Schedule: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15 (36 hours only)

Assignment Details: Contract: 13-week contracts accepted

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in a level 3 or 4 NICU
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Key clinical skills: ventilator management, HFOV, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC care, central line care, tracheostomy care, therapeutic hypothermia, feeding tube placement/management

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care to neonates, including those with complex medical needs.
• Monitor vital signs and manage ventilator settings to ensure optimal respiratory support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate families on care needs and facilitate communication between healthcare team members.

Compliance / Notes:

• No call required.
• Pre-approved time off: 1
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• RTO rules apply, including no RTO during first week and pre-approval needed for any time off.
