Account Manager

Competitive base salary + bonus + car allowance + excellent benefits package Adecco Permanent Recruitment is supporting a confidential search for an experienced Senior Account Manager with an established global manufacturing organization in the Metro Detroit area. This position will be responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships while also developing new business opportunities. The Senior Account Manager will work closely with customers and internal technical, operational, and commercial teams to support new programs, develop account strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive long-term revenue growth.. This is not strictly an account maintenance position. The company is looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and actively pursuing new business. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow strategic customer relationships Develop and execute account strategies focused on revenue and market growth Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities Build relationships with key customer decision-makers Lead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations Support RFQs, proposals, technical reviews, and new program opportunities Partner with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions based on customer needs Monitor account performance, forecasts, sales trends, and pipeline activity Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts and prospective customers Support resolution of customer issues by coordinating with internal teams Participate in customer presentations and new business discussions Maintain accurate account and opportunity information within CRM systems Collaborate with sales leadership on short- and long-term growth initiatives Ideal Background 3+ years of progressive B2B sales and account management experience Experience within automotive, industrial, or technical manufacturing environments Experience working with OEM and/or Tier 1 customers preferred Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business Strong account management and relationship-building skills Experience with commercial negotiations and pricing Ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams Strong understanding of forecasting, pipeline management, and account development Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills Hybrid work environment Metro Detroit location Travel approximately 25% Combination of strategic account management and new business development Significant interaction with customers and internal leadership Competitive compensation and benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr Adecco
