Human Resources Generalist
Location: Kearny Mesa, San Diego, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our client's growing team in Kearny Mesa. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The HR Generalist will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and HR record management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee file maintenance, and HR documentation
• Coordinate recruiting activities, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
• Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to employee inquiries, supporting workplace investigations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
• Support payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS updates, and maintaining accurate employee records
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California employment laws, including maintaining documentation and supporting HR audits
• Assist with performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and workplace culture programs
• Prepare HR reports, maintain workforce data, and provide administrative support for ongoing HR initiatives

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Human Resources experience supporting areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and maintaining confidential employee information
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams
• Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations is highly preferred

Assignment Details:

• Contract to hire role
• Onsite role
• Located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
• Compensation: $27.00-$42.00 per hour DOE
• Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
