Accountant Regular Full-Time Professional MS - Ridgeland/Corporate, Ridgeland, MS, US Summary of Position The Accountant is responsible for a wide variety of accounting responsibilities including budgeting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and expense reimbursement review, entering journal entries, and mastery of the accounting system (Sage Intacct). Reviews accounts payable to ensure accurate account coding Reviews and reconciles accounts receivable Reconciles balance sheet accounts Assists with special projects requiring data compilation and analysis Manages and maintains accounting system Researches and investigates opportunities to better utilize the accounting system Contract invoicing and reporting compliance Assists with budget changes throughout the year Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department Regular and timely attendance Other duties as assigned Required Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent experience Required Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Teams 0-3 years general accounting experience preferred Work Arrangement This position is on-site at our corporate office in Ridgeland, MS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
