As a Lead Banquet Cook, you'll bring your culinary skills to the forefront, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for a variety of events. You'll work closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional experiences, ensuring every dish is crafted with precision and care. What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to banquet event orders, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation.
• Inspire, coach, and develop your teamcultivating an atmosphere of creativity, empowerment, and hospitality excellence.
• Assist in the creation of menus for special events, tailoring selections to meet guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely preparation and service of meals during events.
• Monitor food stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in training new kitchen staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

What You Bring

• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse, creative team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
