Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler / Packaging Associate
Job Description
This role focuses on performing repetitive, manual packaging tasks on a production line in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. You will stand for extended periods, work closely with a team, and ensure products are accurately picked, placed, and packaged from a moving conveyor belt into boxes. You will also apply labels or stickers and maintain basic quality standards throughout your shift during a 4-week project on a set daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work on a manual packaging line with a continuously moving conveyor belt.
• Pick and place products into designated boxes or containers according to instructions.
• Apply stickers or labels to boxes in line with standard work instructions.
• Perform the same packaging tasks repeatedly for extended periods of time while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain a consistent pace with the production line to meet productivity expectations.
• Work collaboratively alongside other team members in close proximity to achieve shared goals.
• Follow all safety, quality, and productivity standards at all times.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support safe operations.
• Notify a supervisor of any equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns as soon as they arise.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse, production, or packaging environment.
• Ability to pack boxes accurately and efficiently.
• Skill in picking and placing products into boxes or containers on a moving line.
• Ability to apply stickers or labels neatly and consistently.
• Comfort performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions in English without assistance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maintain focus on a single task for long periods of time.
• Capability to lift, push, or pull light to moderate materials as required.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to work at a consistent pace for the full shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and processes.
• Experience with packing, picking, and placing products in boxes on a production line.
• Comfort working with basic production documentation, such as standard work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
• Reliability and punctuality for a fixed 6:00 AM-2:30 PM shift during the 4-week project.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team in a production setting.

Work Environment
You will work in a production or warehouse setting with active machinery and associated noise. The shift runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and you will be on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift. The role involves repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements and continuous focus on a single task for long periods. You will handle light to moderate materials that may require lifting, pushing, or pulling. The environment is fast-paced and production-driven, with a manual packaging line and a continuously moving conveyor belt. You will work in close proximity to other team members and are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area while keeping pace with the line throughout the shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
