Operations Supervisor

Koko and Niko Playworld | Gainesville, Florida The Opportunity Koko and Niko is a growing family entertainment company focused on hospitality, imaginative play, safety, cleanliness, and memorable family experiences. We are looking for a hands‑on Operations Supervisor who can lead the daily operation, solve problems independently, support the team, and grow with the company. This is a strong fit for someone with supervisory or hospitality leadership experience who wants more responsibility and a clear path toward General Manager and, as the company expands, multi‑unit or senior operations leadership. What You Will Own Help lead daily operations and serve as a dependable on‑site leader for the team. Coach and hold frontline employees accountable while supporting training and onboarding. Handle guest concerns, staffing issues, call‑outs, and day‑to‑day operational problems with sound judgment. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, organization, facility presentation, and guest experience. Oversee birthday parties, private events, opening/closing procedures, schedules, and operational checklists. Work alongside the team when needed, including front desk support, party preparation, resetting areas, cleaning support, or shift coverage. Identify problems and bring practical solutions rather than simply reporting issues. Communicate important staffing, guest, facility, and operational matters to company leadership. What We Are Looking For Experience supervising or leading employees in a customer‑facing environment. Strong hospitality instincts, professionalism, reliability, and follow‑through. Ability to stay calm, make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership without constant direction. Experience coaching employees and handling difficult guest or staff situations. Willingness to be hands‑on and help wherever the operation requires it. Ability to learn quickly and work within established company systems and standards. Hospitality, hotel, resort, family entertainment, attractions, guest services, or similar operational leadership experience is preferred. A college degree is not required. Training and Career Growth The role begins with structured onboarding and an approximately three‑month intensive training and development period. Responsibility will increase as the Operations Supervisor demonstrates the ability to independently lead the operation, develop the team, protect the guest experience, and maintain Koko and Niko standards. Advancement is based on performance and readiness, not simply time in the role. High‑performing leaders may progress toward General Manager and, as Koko and Niko grows, opportunities involving new‑location openings, multi‑unit operations, or senior operations leadership. Schedule and Availability Koko and Niko operates six days a week. Weekend and holiday availability is required based on business needs. The role carries meaningful operational responsibility and requires reasonable phone availability for urgent operational matters and flexibility to assist with coverage when needed. Contract Compensation Full‑time contract position. Annual contract compensation: $40,000–$45,000, based on experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Compensation and scope may be reviewed as responsibilities grow. Structured training and meaningful opportunity for advancement.
