This role is responsible for engaging prospective and existing customers, explaining product and service offerings, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to close. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person consultations, following up on leads, preparing quotes and proposals, and maintaining accurate records in the sales system. The Sales Specialist collaborates closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth installation or service delivery, and provides product training and support to customers as needed. This position involves meeting individual and team sales targets, participating in sales meetings and training, and representing Power Energy Solutions in a professional, customer-focused manner.QualificationsStrong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues.Customer Service skills focused on listening, problem-solving, and creating positive customer experiences.Sales skills, including prospecting, needs assessment, presenting solutions, and closing deals.Training and coaching skills to explain product features and guide customers through usage or onboarding.Sales Management or pipeline management skills to track opportunities, forecast results, and meet targets.Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally within energy, utilities, or related industries.Comfort working in an on-site environment and engaging directly with local customers in Blackwood, NJ.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and use basic CRM or sales tracking tools.High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local customer visits, if required.
